Important update regarding mask protocol
All families should have not received an updated Covid 19 Parent Letter and Mask Protocol from Prairie South School Division Director, Mr. Tony Baldwin. Another copy of the letter is attached for your reference. We encourage all parents to familiarize yourselves with the updated protocol. The change that will affect our school is that all students, regardless of grade, are now expected to be wearing masks at all times, including Phys Ed class.
We also suggest that all students have two masks as well as a spare in their backpack.
Again, we remind parents that it is very important students to come to school with fresh, clean masks every day. If you are unable to provide enough masks for your child(ren) between laundering, disposable masks are available at the school.
Important information regarding MySchoolSask
We have just received the following information regarding logging into your MySchoolSask account. This may explain why so many parents are having trouble logging in!
“MySchoolSask requires parents to reset their passwords every 3 months. The 3 month deadline for those parents who reset their accounts at the beginning of the school year is fast approaching. Please communicate with your parents that they should reset their passwords prior to November 30th. It is recommended that this reset be done from a desk top computer.”
Again, if you are experiencing problems logging in, please do not hesitate to contact me and I would be happy to help you problem solve.

Other items of interest:
- School picture proofs packages have been sent home with students. We encourage all families to use the online ordering option, if possible. All information to access your child’s individualised ID is available in the proof package. Ordering online not only provides parents with many additional ordering options but also cuts down on the paper coming through the school. Any orders being sent through the school must be in the office by Monday, December 7. Any late orders will be returned to families.
- We have received so many great entries for our Creativity Fair! Stay tuned for the list of winners which will be available next week.
- Do you have a child who could benefit from private tutoring? We were very happy to hear from a retired teacher who is willing to provide tutoring for students. If you are interested in this opportunity, please check out her information on the attached poster.
- Thank you so much to our wonderful School Community Council for providing lunch today. It was very appreciated.
