By request, we have a website where you can create your own school clothing orders. You design your clothing at this website, pay, and have the order shipped to you. The website is https://urstore.ca/caronport-elementary-school-_525027 . The company is having a “Black Friday” event next weekend with big sales. They said our designs will be ready and that your orders would be to you by Christmas if you order next weekend. However, the online store will be running all year for your convenience.

The SCC is hosting our second annual Epicure fundraiser. Epicure is a wonderful company that sells food, dips, and goodies that are gluten and additive free. Each choice comes in a beautiful box that makes it perfect for gift giving; plus, our school makes 40% of the profits from every sale.

Guest author, H.R. Hobbs, is coming to CES! H.R. Hobbs has loved books for as long as she can remember, and it’s the reason she became a teacher, and, most recently, a writer. An educator for nearly thirty years, H.R. Hobbs writes realistic fiction and time travel adventures that connect to teens and young adults. A mother to three grown sons and grandmother to three little darlings, she resides with her husband in the small prairie town where she was born and raised.

There are various times from November 19th to 21st when our teachers are offering 30-minute slots during which time your child can walk you through the many great things they are learning in class. You may arrive at any time between the beginning and ending time of your slot as you may not need the full 30 minutes for the tour.

Art Club will be starting November 13th, available to grades 4-8. Art Club will be run by Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Galbraith this year. The cost is $5.00, to help cover supplies. Payment needs to be made on School Cash Online before being able to attend. There is a sign-up sheet by Mrs. Smith’s room. Art Club will be from 3:30 to 4:30, on the following dates:
