Games
- We will have literacy-focused games ready for you and your family to play. There will be options suitable for all grades! We recommend ones like Scrabble, Zingo, Boggle, Charades, Apples to Apples, etc.

Book Trade
– Grab a ‘new-to-you’ book for your family.
– By January 22nd, go through your bookshelves at home and find a book or two that you aren’t reading anymore. Bring it to your classroom teacher. The SCC will set up a table with all of the books collected and you can take one home that night!

Did you Know…
Families and children interacting together by reading and playing is considered one of the best ways to make a difference for school success!
When we play together, we learn social skills, such as: how to play fair, how to cooperate, understanding and following rules, making conversations, and improving thinking skills.
