First Nations film and storytelling tour

Posted on October 28, 2014 by Mrs. Tressel in the Uncategorized category

Jeanne Corrigal spent the day at King George School presenting to our students in 4 different age groups.  She shared the video she produced about Cree Elder Jim Settee, and his matchbox teachings.  Her message was well received by our students.   Elder Settee epitomized life long learning receiving his university degree well into his 80s.  Please ask your child what they learned from Elder Settee’s teachings.
