Peacock Rolls in Girls & Boys Basketball
The stands were packed with orange and green and they had plenty to cheer about on Tuesday night as the Peacock Toiler girls and boys basketball teams both remained undefeated.
The 7-0 Peacock girls rolled to an 81-38 win over the Central Cyclones, who dropped to 4-3 on the year, while the 7-0 Peacock boys powered their way to an 85-50 win over the 5-2 Central Cyclones.

Come support the senior basketball teams on Tuesday night and show your school pride! On Tuesday, February 24 we want to pack our gym and cheer our teams! The School Community Council will be hosting a penny parade and concession with popcorn and drinks. All proceeds will go to support a student lounge renovation project. The Concert Choir will also be opening the evening so be sure to arrive early.
City Curling Champions Decided
After suffering disappointment in the city final last year, the Peacock 1 team skipped by Daniel Mutlow got their vindication over the weekend.
The team put together a great run, winning three games to come away with the Moose Jaw high school curling boys city championship, finishing it off with a 9-5 and 9-4 win over Brett Behm and Vanier 1.
Both teams now advance to districts in Gravelbourg at the end of the month.
