Peacock Receives $50,000 from Canadian Welding Association
On October 27, 2015 at 9:30 am, The CWA Foundation and the Marinucci Family Foundation (MFF) will present Albert E. Peacock Collegiate with $50,000 that will be given over 10 years – $5,000 annually to help enhance their welding program.

The Peacock cross country team put together a stellar performance at the SHSAA Provincial Championship in Saskatoon on Saturday.
The outstanding day across the board for the runners was capped off with the 3A provincial title as the Tornadoes came away with the lowest overall score among all the divisions.

Help us raise up to $10,000 this year to help fund extra-curricular programs at Peacock Collegiate! We have teamed up with Murray GM Moose Jaw to host a one day test drive event which will be hosted in front of the school. Buick will donate $20 for every valid test drive taken. Up to $10,000 can be raised from this single event!
The event takes place on Saturday, October 17 from 9:00am to 5:00pm at the front of the school.

It was cold and damp down in Wakamow Valley on Monday, but that was just to the runners liking as 89 runners hit the course for the South Central District Cross Country Championship.
The Peacock Tornadoes squad had the best day, sweeping all but one of the gold medals in the high school races.
Peacock’s Kalen Roney won the senior boys title with a time of 22:26 during the six-kilometre race.

A very clean game from the Peacock Toilers was the difference on Thursday night in their straight set win over the Central Cyclones.
The two Moose Jaw High School Senior Boys Volleyball teams battled back-and-forth in three very tight sets, but the Toilers seemed to be able to take advantage of every little mistake by Central, while the Cyclones couldn’t find a hole to expose Peacock.

There was quite the range of emotions for the Peacock Tornadoes during the second half of Wednesday’s game against the Weyburn Eagles.
After battling through the first half without a goal scored on either side, Peacock fell down 2-0 early in the second half. The Tornadoes didn’t quit however and fought their way back with two late goals for the 2-2 draw in Moose Jaw High School Boys Soccer League action at the Canada Games soccer fields.
