Peacock wins Wrestling Provincial Title!!!

When you send a small team of three wrestlers to provincials, you’re not expecting to walk away with a provincial championship, but that’s exactly what Peacock’s boys team was able to accomplish this past weekend.
Peacock won the SHSAA 3A boys provincial championship at the High School Wrestling Provincials in Warman on the weekend thanks to the stellar performance of their three wrestlers.

One of the most heartwarming moments of the high school basketball season came in the girls city final’s final seconds when Grade 12 standout Macaela Crone took the court for the Peacock Toilers.
A national junior team member with a scholarship to NCAA Division I Louisiana Tech, Crone suffered a season-ending knee injury during the Toilers’ first tournament. She underwent surgery January and had recovered enough to suit up for the final.

Peacock Wins Mixed Curling Provincial Title

A long day ended in celebration for the Peacock mixed curling team on Saturday.
Peacock needed three wins over the course of the day to walk away with the provincial title and they did just that, beating Rosthern, 9-8, in the SHSAA provincial championship game on Saturday at the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre.

The Peacock Orange Toilers walked away with the JV Boys title, beating Central Butte, 81-49, in the final.
Ryland Widenmaier led all scorers with 31 points in the win for Peacock, while Austin Smith chipped in with 17 and Steven Hartmann had 14.
Carl Martel was the Bulldogs’ top scorer with 23 in the loss.
