    • We will all run and walk to Dunnet Park after lunch.
    • Everyone will need to be dressed for the weather, wear appropriate footwear, and bring a water bottle.

    • The RCMP will lead us out to the park and buses will bring students and staff back to town.  There will also be a bus available to pick up little legs that just can’t make it all the way.
    • Now it’s time to get that fundraising going! Donations can be made in three ways –
      • online directly to Avonlea School using the following link:   https://schools.terryfox.ca/Avonlea
      • families can set up a student account using the same link
      • students can use the attached pledge sheet
    • Directions for all three options are listed on the attached informational page.  The QR code on the pledge sheet will take you directly where you need to go. Paper copies will also be sent home with every student.
  • If you are new to our school or have not yet taken the time to set up a SchoolCash account, we would strongly encourage you to do so!  SchoolCash is a quick and easy way to pay for things such as hot lunches, milk cards, school clothing, student fees, etc.  Setup instructions are included on the attached Become a SchoolCash Member instruction sheet.
  • Have you sent a family picture yet?  If not, we would love to add you to our Avonlea School Family Wall.  These definitely don’t have to be photographer-quality pictures, just gather your crew, snap a quick pic, and email it to beitel.cheryl@prairiesouth.ca .
  • Athletic fees for all fall sports can be paid online using your SchoolCash account.   If you have not yet set up your SchoolCash account, you can send payment to the office.
  • SLC Student Fees are now due and can be paid online using your SchoolCash account.  For those of you new to our school, in lieu of fundraisers, our SLC asks families to pay a $20 Student Activity Fee to help cover the costs of the many activities they put on throughout the year.
