Family & friends are invited to join our CES students and staff for an Assembly on Wednesday, November 8th at 9:50 am in the school gym.

The grade 2/3 class has been learning about how structures are built. They were given a challenge to stop their turkeys from escaping Thanksgiving dinner using only toothpicks and mini marshmallows!  This challenge required teamwork and an understanding on how to combine 2 different materials. We celebrated Thanksgiving with our families!  The grade one students made finger puppets of the Gingerbread Man story and retold it to their families.  They also told their families all the ways that they could tell the season is changing into fall.

CES Medal Winners for the MJ Invitational Cross Country Running Meet 2023: Bantam Girls:  2nd- Taliana Intermediate Girls – 1st – Molly; 3rd – Mercedes Junior Boys – 2nd – Hudson; 3rd – Nathan  

Our cross country runners kicked off their season with a pep rally just before they headed out to Rouleau for their first meet. Congratulations to Mercedes & Molly who placed 2nd & 3rd.  A number of the runners finished in the top 10 of 50… 

Our school is supporting the Terry Fox Foundation by collecting Toonies for Terry from Monday, September 18th – Friday September 22. Students may bring a Toonie to school and deposit it in our Toonies for Terry jar kept at Mrs. Eby’s desk. At the end…
