Cross Country Recap

What a fantastic Cross-Country season it was! We had 37  participants, biggest group yet! The students practiced Monday to Thursday morning at 8am, with their coaches. The dedication to practice was outstanding. Every runner increased their running times, to their personal bests. Some honorable mentions go out to Shawn P for trying his best each time, and Harmony K, who always ran with a beautiful smile. Here is a list of some of our achievements:

Bantam Girls received 2^nd
Intermediate Girls and Boys received 2^nd
Junior Girls and Boys received 1st
Senior Girls and Boys received 2nd.
We finished the season off with a fun run at the school where many ribbons were handed out, even myself and Mrs. Doell ran. So much fun running while students and teachers were cheering us on.
I personally want to thank each runner for the dedication they showed to their training, and thank you to Mrs. Doell and Ms. Schmidt for helping me coach. Until next year, Mrs. Smith 🙂
