My name is Katelyn Behiel. I will be spending 12 weeks in Caronport Elementary as a student intern. I would like to introduce myself. I am in my senior year of the Elementary Education program at Minot State University, and I will be graduating in the Spring of 2022. I started my postsecondary schooling at Briercrest College and transferred to Minot to complete my degree in the Fall of 2020. Becoming a teacher is a passion that I have had for many years. I look forward to learning and growing in Mr. Odendaal’s classroom.
My home is in the small town, Muenster, Saskatchewan. I am an avid coffee drinker who loves being active, baking/cooking, and spending time at the lake. My role in the classroom will be to gradually take on the responsibility of teaching Mr. Odendaal’s class. This will look like observation, helping out, and teaching many lessons. I am very excited to spend time in Caronport Elementary and I can’t wait to see where this opportunity will take me.
