The countdown is on!\u00a0 Soon you will be sending your children off to their first day of school in our newly renovated school.\u00a0 We thin k it is important for you to see the building in a more relaxed manner than the hectic first morning of classes.\u00a0 As such we will be doing school tours on Tuesday, August 30 every half hour starting at 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.<\/p>\n
We will tour a small group of parents around the building and then allow them to pop in and speak with their child\u2019s teacher after the tour.\u00a0 The tours are strictly first come first served.\u00a0 We hope to have groups no larger than 20 or so for each tour.<\/p>\n
I know this is a busy time for those of you in our farming community.\u00a0 Due to the construction schedule this is the best time for this event. \u00a0This will help you to know where to take your child on the first day of classes on Sept 1.<\/p>\n
We look forward to seeing you here on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
On a separate note, the new school lockers have not arrived, so we will not be assigning lockers to any students for the next week or two.\u00a0 We ask that you not bring too many items to school at this time beyond a few binders, paper and writing instruments and PE clothing.\u00a0 Basically bring what you can fit into a backpack.\u00a0 This will allow you to keep you items with you at all times.<\/p>\n
