Palliser Heights Staff and School Community Council members are excited to announce our Dr. Seuss reading challenge which will begin January 27 in celebration of Family Literacy Day and will run until mid-May.
As you may already know, reading is an important initiative within Prairie South School Division and Palliser Heights wants to help motivate kids to read. To that effect, staff members and our SCC have created a Dr. Seuss themed reading challenge. With Dr. Seuss character visits, Dr. Seuss themed prizes and a final prize for three classes to attend the matinee performance of Rhubarb Jr.’s Seussical in June, we hoped to motivate kids to read…and read.
