Important Self-Care Information

Adele and Laine, our wonderful nursing students that came to work with us from January-March, have created a series of monthly themed health packets. This month, we will learn about self-care.

April – Self Care

As a teenager, there are so many stressors and changes happening in your life. This is why it is so important to practice self-care! You have to look after yourself first to be able to care for others or to cope with everyday life. Here we have attached a picture and video on some ways you can practice self-care. It’s important to know that self-care can look different for everyone. Sometimes self-care is face masks and baths, but other times self can be cleaning your room or turning your phone off for the night.  Self-care isn’t always glamorous!
