Registering New Students

 

All registrations for new students can be completed online through the Prairie South School at  https://www.prairiesouth.ca/schools/student-registration/

 

If you require transportation, please complete and return the bus form to the school.

Kindergarten and Grade 1 Registrations

 

Please look at the following procedures for registering children in Kindergarten and Grade 1.  

 

  1. a) Children who are five years of age as of December 31 (born in 2018) may be admitted to kindergarten for the 2023-24 school year.
  2. b) Children who meet Ministry of Education criteria for a student with a designated disability may enter a school-division early learning program no earlier than the age of three, provided the Director of Education has approved such an admission.
  3. c) Children who are six years of age as of December 31 (born in 2017) are to be admitted to grade one for the 2023-24 school year.
