Announcements for Friday, March 28, 2025

We’re here on Treaty 4 land, home to the Cree, Saulteaux, Dakota, Nakota, Lakota nations, and the Métis. We respect the land and the people who’ve been its caretakers for generations, and we’re thankful for the opportunity to learn and grow together.

Cyclone Shout Out

School News

Attendance Appreciation! Attention CCI we want to celebrate students with perfect weekly attendance. Here’s how it works: any student with perfect attendance will have their name entered into a draw. Tuesday of the following week, two names from each grade will be drawn for a prize. #YourPresenceMatters

Track and field season begins April 1st!  If you are interested in competing this year, sign up using the QR code posted on social media or around the school.  If you have any questions, see Ms. Mackey in room 213.

There will be a track and field team meeting in Ms. Mackey’s Room (213) TODAY at the beginning of lunch.

Authors’ Tea will be TODAY in Ms. Schultz’s room at noon. Everyone is welcome!

If you’re 18 years old and want to vote in the upcoming federal election, come see Rawlyk–I have some info for you. Also, if you’re 16 and want to work (for money!) at the polling stations then come see me too!

We have $460 raised for Free to Be Me–they look after abandoned and abused animals of all kinds. Please think about helping them out by giving Rawlyk money–we’re looking to raise $700 for them. They are SO thankful every year when I bring them a cheque from CCI!! Our animal fundraisers are one important way that CCI shows how we give back to the community. Mew Mew….
