Cyclone Shout Out

Congrats to the Junior girls Red team for beating Avonlea no problem and playing the two tightests sets with Vanier. One set was 28-26. Way to go girls. Couldn’t be prouder. 


Congrats to our cross country team for their spectacular performance at the district meet yesterday! All of our runners are going to provincials, and we took home 8 medals! Way to go, cross team!

Pack the Gym – The Sr. Volleyball teams play in our gym TODAY! Let’s Pack the Gym and cheer them on. 6:20 Girls game and 8:00 boys game.

Pack the FieldSaturday at Gutheridge Field we want to Pack the Field and cheer on our football team. Game time 3:15.

Are you wanting to finish your student volunteer hours? Well look no further than our very own gym. Tonight we are hosting Peacock boys and girls teams and we need your help. Please come and see Mr. Carter about doing lines, score clock or the score sheet. Thank you in advance for all of you who will volunteer their time throughout the year.

Remember to pay your school fees on school cash online or at the office. If you have any questions, or would like to inquire about your fees, see Mrs. Wicker in the office. 


Girls Soccer team: there are still many outstanding fees. Please see Mrs. Binetruy if payment is an issue.

Mrs. Whitehead is looking for some student helpers over the lunch hour for 30 minutes every day.  If interested, go and see her in the library.

Are you interested in 3D Printing, Coding or designing? Then Innovation Club is for you and it’s back. We will be meeting in the art room TODAY at 3:30 p.m.

The CCI Battle of the Books is back! It will run from Friday, October 14, 2022, to January 16, 2023. Whether you read a lot or just a little, you are invited to form teams of three and to see Ms. Veer to get on the list. Don’t forget to pick a team name(Page Turners, Wise Words, Cull Readas, etc.). Parents, caretakers, teachers, and, of course, students are all welcome!! So far we have 5 teams! Several are looking for another team mate, so let Ms. Veer know if you’re searching for a group. There are amazing prizes for the top three teams, as well as the top reader! Ms. Veer will tally the scores and announce the top teams weekly.
