Central Collegiate acknowledges that we are on the traditional lands referred to as Treaty 4 Territory. Treaty 4 territory includes the original lands of the Cree, Ojibwe (OJIB-WĒ), Saulteaux (SO-TO), Dakota, Nakota, Lakota, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation.
Cyclone Shout Out
Congratulations to the senior boys volleyball team for placing 4th at Provincials this weekend. The boys had an outstanding season this year and should be very proud of their hard work and dedication. Way to go Cyclones!
School News
A reminder to students who have not signed up for Drivers Ed. There is still room in Class 5 and 6 that start in February/March of 2024 so make sure you stop by the office to pick up the form to register online.
The SLC will be having a donut sale this Thursday, November 30th at the 10 minute break and at lunch in the canteen – come grab a treat!
News from Mr. Young
Any grade 10-12 students that are interested in getting into Police Services, after high school, are invited to a presentation put on by Officer Regan Pawliw on Thursday, December 7th, during period 4. His presentation will go over the specifics of what education you will need to get into the police force, training, schooling, and the pathways you can take to becoming a Police Officer. If you are interested, please come sign up in the office. Any questions, please see Mr. Young.
