We acknowledge that our school is located on the traditional territories of the Cree, Saulteaux, Dakota, Nakota, and Lakota nations, as well as the homeland of the Métis. We respect the enduring relationship that Indigenous peoples have with this land, and we commit to learning from their histories, cultures, and contributions as we move forward together in a spirit of reconciliation.
Cyclone Shout Out
One-Act Play Festival: Mr. Bowley and Mr. Robinson wish to congratulate the cast and crew of “One of Our Clowns is Missing.” The group gave a wonderful performance on Friday night. The adjudicator praised the group for taking on such a challenging play. An award was given to Juno Kempton for his strong performance, and Gabe Gibson for his ability to execute the lighting and sound cues simultaneously. Mariia Sviderska won the Cheer award for her special contribution to the spirit of the ensemble. The cast also won the Ensemble award. This recognition is for the group that worked together as a team.
Special thanks go out to Millie Watson, without whom, the show would not have been possible. She took on the role of Stage Manager late in the rehearsal period and courageously led the whole team. This is Millie’s first time in this role, and she is in Grade 9.
Thanks also go out to Mr. Porter and to Ms. Mack for their help in making this year’s production a success.
