It has been an exciting Month at ÉGS. On October 12 we dedicated the Resource Centre in honour of Mrs. Marion Piché. Then on October 18 we had the official re-opening of the new school. On October 31 we began using the new bus loop in front of the school. This is just in time as the weather is starting to turn cold and soon, when the snow flies and the temperature gets colder, students will not have very far to go from their buses to the school door. The landscapers are working away outside bringing in top soil, shrubs and trees. Soon they
will be adding sod to complete the outside grounds of the school. The last few deficiencies are being stroked off the to-do lists and the building is just about complete as we envisioned it. A few plumbing, electrical and gym stage items are the last big things to complete. Thanks you to the staff and students for their continued patience as this massive project winds to its conclusion.
En octobre nous avons dédié notre nouveau Centre de ressources à Mme Marion Piché qui était une personne clé dans le programme d’immersion au niveau secondaire et une grande source d’inspiration pour nombreux en éducation.
