On May 11, five senior members of the Art Club traveled to Moose Jaw’s Riverview Collegiate to participate in the Prairie South Schools Art Gala. This consisted of several break-out sessions where students learned new visual arts techniques using a variety of media, honed their camera techniques with a professional photographer, participated in Rock Band performances, and wrote new songs with the help of local recording artist Megan Nash. Although three of the members are graduating this year, the other two hope to be joined by more budding Van Goghs, Drakes, and Clint Eastwoods next year.
