On Saturday, October 22, the S.C.C. held an auction and garage sale at the former GES. There were over 1,000 articles to auction, table heaped with garage sale items and numerous books. The day ended in a great success, with only a few items remaining.
The SCC would like to thank the volunteers who helped out by sorting items during the month leading up to the sale, setting up for many weeks prior to the sale, helping out the day of the auction and helping with the final cleanup since the end of the sale. Over 800 volunteer hours were recorded with a profit of approximately $10,000. Thank you for making our day a great success. These funds will be used to purchase items our children need to succeed.
