Dental Hygiene at EGS

Mrs. G-B’s kindergarten to grade 3 class had a special visitor this week and learned all about good dental hygiene. Students were excited to go home with a goodie bag which included information, a toothbrush and toothpaste.

100 Days and Counting

Some of the students celebrated the 100th day of school. This is an opportunity for them to learn place value, time, calendars and to have fun while they are doing it.  Kudos to the teachers who celebrate 100 days.

Go Science

Students at EGS were treated to live science presented by the Regina Science Centre. Each grade experienced a different domain, from chemical reactions to forces and light. Interactive experiments were the highlight of the day.

Pink Day Celebrated

Students at EGS celebrated Pink Day by sporting anti-bullying shirts, doing a buddy activity and eating pink cookies. They became kindness superheroes, and wrote positive text messages for the school to read. Thanks to Mrs. Mann for organizing the event.

Oratory Contest Winners

Congratulations to all the students who participated in the 2018 Oratory Contest. First and second place winners will go on to represent the school at the Music Festival.
