Staff and friends of Elyett gathered in a surprise come and go tea to celebrate her retirement. A recap of her teaching career, amusing stories, gift presentations and snacks were all a part of the afternoon. Guests gathered later to share a meal.
In addition to Mme Boisvert, EGS will be bidding adieu to Miss Stene, who is moving to Saskatoon in the next step of her teaching career, and to Mme Fister, who will finally be able to enjoy the retirement that she began several years ago in a setting other than a classroom.
