Palliser Heights School is currently accepting registrations for French Immersion Prekindergarten. Please register your child, at the office, between the hours of 8:15am and 4:15pm.
WE Did It!
WE raised an AMAZING $15,590 in only 30 days! Not only does this build a school in Kenya, it allows us to buy 119 goats to help empower women in a variety of communities. Great job Palliser Heights!

French as a Second Language Week
French as a Second Language Week
This year’s theme is “French How does French come alive in your school? « Comment fais-tu vivre le français dans ton école? »
The week will kick off with an assembly at 10:30 on Monday morning and the fun is sure to follow. One of the highlights will be having a variety of French/Canadian Heritage dance workshops presented by Camille Bell.
Daily themes and activities:
Tuesday, February 3rd is color day.
Students will wear green or yellow.
Wednesday, February 4th is ceinture (French for belt) day.
Students are to wear a fabric belt or scarf around their waist.
Thursday, February 5th is flag day.
Students need to have completed their Fransaskois flag. Some classes may be doing this at school.
Friday, February 5th is tuque day.
Book Fair
We will once again be holding our Scholastic Book Fair during the week of Student Led Conferences. This year the book fair will be held, in the library, on:
Monday, November 17: 1pm – 4pm
Tuesday and Wednesday, (November 18 ,19): 9am – 7pm.

Education Week
As part of our Education Week celebration, all classes at Palliser Heights decorated pumpkins. Students were very creative, drawing inspiration from favourite characters in books, poems and comics. This activity concluded with a ‘viewing parade’ in which students admired the hard work of their peers.
Terry Fox Run
This year the Terry Fox Run will take place on Wednesday, September 24th at 10:30 am. We will begin with a brief assembly and then move outside to participate in the run/walk. We are again registered for online donations at http://www.terryfox.org/. Click on DONATE TO A STUDENT/SCHOOL and you will be able to find the Palliser Heights donation page. We invite everyone to come out and join us in the run!
