Announcements for Tuesday, April 1, 2025

We acknowledge that our school is located on the traditional territory of the Cree, Saulteaux, Dakota, Nakota, and Lakota nations, and the homeland of the Métis. We recognize and respect the deep connection Indigenous peoples have with this land and commit to fostering understanding, respect, and reconciliation.

School News

Attendance Appreciation! Attention CCI we want to celebrate students with perfect weekly attendance. Here’s how it works: any student with perfect attendance will have their name entered into a draw. Tuesday of the following week, two names from each grade will be drawn for a prize. #YourPresenceMatters

Track and field season begins TODAY!  If you have any questions, see Ms. Mackey in room 213.

Hey curlers! Remember to meet Ms. Ramm at the crescent doors right after announcements TODAY so we can walk together to the Temple Gardens event centre!

If you signed up to write the next Waterloo math contest, please come to Ms. Schultz’s room at lunch for a very short meeting.

If you’re 18 years old and want to vote in the upcoming federal election, come see Rawlyk–I have some info for you. Also, if you’re 16 and want to work (for money!) at the polling stations then come see me too!

We have $460 raised for Free to Be Me–they look after abandoned and abused animals of all kinds. Please think about helping them out by giving Rawlyk money–we’re looking to raise $700 for them. They are SO thankful every year when I bring them a cheque from CCI!! Our animal fundraisers are one important way that CCI shows how we give back to the community.
