News from Mr. Young
Grade 10 through 12 students, Elevate Aviation 2024 is happening on Friday, May 31st, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. At this event students will get hands-on experiences, tour of the Moose Jaw Municipal Airport, hear presentations from aviation and aerospace experts, meet team members from the Canadian Snowbirds, aircraft technicians, and management teams, and have conversations with aviation experts about career exploration. Waivers must be filled out and turned into Mr. Young or Mrs. Kelly. Waivers can be found on the Google Classroom, in Student Services, and the Main Office. Deadline to sign up is Friday, May 3rd or when the event fills up before the deadline date. This will fill up so do not hesitate to get those waivers in.
All Grade 12 Female Athletes, there is a new scholarship from the Hillcrest Ladies Gold League called “Supporting Young Women in Sport”. Details can be found on the Google Classroom or bulletin board, outside of Student Services. There are five awards of $3000.00 to be won. Deadline is midnight, June 9th, 2024
