School News

The French immersion students will be hosting Central’s first ever Noël market! It will be tomorrow during Period 3 and running through lunch until the end of 4th period. There will be treats, jewelry, keychains, and more. Stop by the grade twelve lounge to get your Christmas shopping done and support the French immersion students’ businesses!

The SLC door decorating competition this year is during Period 2 classes – voting will take place in the afternoon of December 19th and the morning of December 20th. The winning class will receive a class pizza party after the break – winners announced at Christmas Lit.

This week during the 10 minute break, come to the Senior lounge to buy a ticket to pie a teacher in the face during Winter Lit. Tickets are $1 each and proceeds are being donated to “Free to Be Me”.

Get in the Christmas spirit – Today is Pyjama day and Candy Cane hunt at 10 mins break, Thursday is Christmas sweater and treat trolley day with Friday is Santa Hat day & Winter Lit.

Attention grade 12s!  Today, we will be having a brief scholarship meeting, in the gymnasium, at 11:45 am. During this time you will be receiving your scholarship resource packages and information on when scholarships will be opening up. More information can be found on the Google Classroom.

All in car driving is cancelled today, Thursday and Friday.
