- Leadership 10/30 has launched a Winter Clothing Drive partnering with Homebase running from Oct. 7- Nov 2nd. As a school we want to encourage you to give. You can donate lightly used winter clothing that would fit someone from ages 12-25. If you don’t know what to bring. Gloves, warm socks, and Toques were items that Homebase gave a lot away last year. As a class, I might plan to walk to Dollarrama one day to purchase some gloves etc. Raid your closets and donate what you can. There are a lot of needs out there, and this is one way we as a Peacock family can help. Clothes can be dropped off in Mr. Ayars’ classroom.
- Any folks interested in helping out backstage at the musical this year should meet in Mr. Nikolic’s room (302) on Tuesday October 13 after the first bell for a quick meeting.
- Congratulations to the cross country team on a successful district meet in Wakamow yesterday. Special mention to Parker King who placed 3rd in intermediate boys; Andy Warken third junior girls; Sam Gaucher 1st senior boys; Jameson Heisler 2nd senior boys; and Jorja Grajczyk 1st senior girls. Those athletes along with Torrey Wills, Cooper Williams, Scarlett Zoerb, and Reid Heisler have advanced to provincials at Table Mountain in North Battleford next weekend.
